Luís Santiago Israel

Pursuing the path taught by the Buddha and his past disciples who compiled sutras and tantras and commented on them, Luís has been particularly fascinated by the Nalanda tradition. As a child, his first encounter with that tradition was reading a book by HH Dalai Lama and, later on, through Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche's teachings. Having graduated from UFMG, he works as an architect while also volunteering at Chagdud Gonpa Khadro Ling. Luís hopes to aid anyone interested in understanding what was taught in Nalanda, such as Abhidharma, Pramana, Madhyamaka, and Buddha Nature.
