Carlo Carranza
Carlo has a Master Degree on Education and received his first teachings from Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche in 2001 while studying at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, where he also met Ani Lodro Palmo, who inspired him to ordain. He was a monk for 10 years and received his Bhikshu vows from the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso. He became a Siddhartha ’s Intent instructor in 2012 and has studied and taught in several countries including India, Nepal, United States, Spain, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela and Mexico. He has received teachings from masters rom the 4 schools of Tibetan Buddhism and from other traditions such as Theravada as well. He has been an interpreter and also translates and edits Buddhist texts into Spanish including the commentary on Chandrakirti’s Madhyamakavatara by his main teacher Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche.
